It’s time. Welcome to my first blog post. After declaring I would never start a blog, I’m finally taking a plunge into another side of social media. Being a marketer, I fully understand the need for companies to exist in the world of social media- in fact, they will inevitably exist with or without permission from the company (ie: consumer ratings, bad pr blasts, etc). But why a personal blog? I don’t have kids to show off to grandparents, I’m not climbing Mt. Everest or traveling across the ocean, so I never it thought it was useful.
After careful consideration and asking myself, “What would I blog about” I finally came up with an answer. I love the world of marketing and PR and I’m constantly examining the effects of my buying habits and traits.
So as a consumer of a plethora of goods and services, I want to combine my knowledge of business and marketing with relevant topics in consumer demand and personal experiences.
